Ginny/Luna Potter Pride Week
(for @rowle)
“How dare you think that I could handle this alone!”
Ron looked dumbfounded by Ginny’s newfound resistance.
“I notice you didn’t say anything about Dean and Seamus, or even Hermione and Theodore! But no, the moment it comes to your little sister, you expect me to be alone, with everything that’s going on!”
Ginny furiously rubbed her arm over her eyes for a second to dash away the wetness in her eyes. A soft hand curved over her shoulder and she turned into the familiar warm embrace of her girlfriend, sucking in a deep breath filled with the sweet scent of flowers.
“You know, Ron,” Luna said, putting her chin atop Ginny’s head and continuing to stroke up and down her back, “the Wrackspurts are buzzing quite loudly around you right now. Maybe you should take some time to get rid of them before talking to Ginny.”
“I don’t know what you’re talking about, Loony, but you better get your hands off of my little sister!” Ron yelled, his face getting red with anger while Harry slowly put his head in his hands over to the side, sighing silently. He knew this wasn’t going to end well.
“Ginny is quite happy to have my hands where they are, and other places too, Ronald Weasley.” Luna’s voice was serene, but her eyes grew sharper and her hands tensed around Ginny. “Just as, I think, Draco would be happy to have your hands all over him. And the same back, I presume.”
Ron spluttered in embarrassed outrage as the rest of the common room erupted in laughter, including Ginny, making Luna smile lovingly down at her. “My little firebrand.” She whispered, leaning down to give her a gentle kiss on the lips.
“My moonflower.” Ginny whispered back, ignoring the cries of her older brother behind her.
