If Tommy was honest, Connor going back to Cyberlife would be in his favour in every possible aspect. That way, at least, he didn’t have to worry about the other finally discovering that it was him who he was hunting. It had gotten awfully close a couple of times, and Tommy had only managed to slip away by about a hair’s length. Exciting once upon a time, but too close for comfort now that he’d lost at his own game and started to feel more for Connor than he should.
But still..
Having done his research, Tommy was also fully aware that going back to Cyberlife was not an ideal solution in any shape or form. “No, I’m not agitated. Confused, maybe, but not that.” Clearing his throat, he pulled out his cigarettes, disregarding Connor’s dislike for them, and put one between his lips. “I just don’t get it. Why the fuck would you want to go back there, eh? You don’t need them.” Lighting up his cigarette, he leaned back in his seat and took a long drag, exhaling the smoke slowly as he finally willed himself to look at the android. “How can I support something I don’t think is in your best interest?”
