“Because I need a favor, and you’re the only one who can help me.” Only is a stretch, but she wants to be helped by him and she is determined to get her way.

“A hundred percent, huh.” Eve sighs as she takes his hands into hers. As always, they’re cold ( just like her own ) . “If that’s the case then...there is something I haven’t been entirely honest about. Can you promise that you won’t be mad?”

When Eve seems ready to go, Saima is ready to head out as well. Accepting her hand, they return a bright smile. “Sounds good. Time to have a really good night.“ With that they accompany her out to the car.
After a thirty minute drive they arrive at the bar. The bouncer recognizes Eve, so they make it in very quickly. Once they’re inside the starlet takes in the scenery a little before turning to her friend. “Wanna get a drink?”

Even though she appears unsympathetic to him, she is actually taking his words into consideration. Since she is the one who left for months, she guesses it’s not fair to expect him to be free just because she is. “Fine, I’ll forgive you...but you have to tell me about some of those bad dates...and a ton of those other things too!” She hasn’t seen him in a very long time so she wants to catch up.

“That sounds super cool. I would totally be game if your company commissioned me to do the art for that album.“ Doing album art was always a fun project for Zora - an excuse to dig deep into the music of an artist and their given aesthetic made was one they would gladly take one.
“Perfect!” If the company approves, she’ll have to leave the contract to them since she has no clue how all that stuff works. Eve will definitely make sure her friend gets paid properly for her work though. “When do you think we could get started on the painting?“

Letting out a sigh, the older male looked up from his laptop. He was in the middle of entering grades in his grade book. When Eve flopped down on to the couch. Closing his laptop, William placed it on the table, before turning his attention over to her. “Let’s go out. Having you in here is cleary boring you. I don’t see why we can’t go downtown and see the town, possibly get some food on the way.” William suggested as his gaze locked onto Eve’s face.
When he suggests they go out Eve’s eyes light up. She didn’t think William would put aside his grading for her sake, but she is happy nonetheless. "Let’s get Italian food. I want spaghetti bolognese. No, I need spaghetti bolognese.”

“Dave, Dave, Daaaaaave!” Eve chirps as she nudges him with her foot. If it isn’t obvious, she really wants his attention right now. “What sorta stuff does River like? I wanna buy her gifts.” She already dropped by a bag of designed clothes, but she doubts that his daughter really cares about them. After all, she is a kid! All they want are snacks and toys.
