GRACKLES
by Anat Ronen
Hated by many across Texas, but considered by others to be just another symbol of the state, in 2019 Houston artist Anat Ronen memorialized the noisy and sometimes aggressive birds in San Antonio, on the side of @FacilityRx on E French Pl at N St Mary's St. Originally from Israel, Ronen came to art relatively late only "discovering her calling" after moving to Houston, but has made up for lost time in the last decade, not only painting hundreds of murals across the US and beyond but also frequently participating in street painting festivals (including creation of some mind-bending 3D anamorphic compositions) and dabbling in a variety of other media. @anatronen1971/ @sanantoniostreetart/
