Not particularly. I sorta came to the conclusion that anything religious/spiritual is pretty much unknowable (at least in a way that I would find convincing), and so rather than make guesses and let them shape my behavior, I try to just make the most of my time and use my friends and emotions to guide my behavior.

8. what musical artists have you most felt connected to over your lifetime?

The Beatles probably deserve at least an honorable mention cause tiny me not only felt like a 60s flower child, but they were absolutely the first band I was really into and got me into like… listening to music recreationally. Green Day and MCR certainly should get spots on that list too.

I dont think so. Like I do artistic things, but its always with a very utilitarian purpose, and in my book that doesnt make me an artist. Craftsman I’ll go with, but artist doesnt feel right

I have no idea. Like I have a penchant for a few specific animals (ocean sunfish, hercules beetles, etc) but it takes more than liking something for it to be your patronus. Maybe like a meerkat or a naked mole rat or a bee? Something colonial that isnt an ant. Also this feels like a less appropriative way of asking “What’s your spirit animal?” and I cant tell if I like it or not

This is a weird question, cause like most things someone might do that could get under my skin dont at all, but a few things do immediately, so idk.

I dont even know. Since Otakon ended and I’ve been doing so many extra hours of comp sci research, I havent had a lot of time to like actually spend having coherent emotions so I dont know how I’m feeling right now. Like kinda stressed, but in a fairly minimal very passive way. It’s weird. Point being, I dont really connect with any songs at the moment cause im not really in a place where I’m connecting with myself, you feel? (that sounds more like dramatic and shitty than it is, im 100% fine, no worries)

Nope. I made a decision a few years ago that I didn’t think we could concretely prove anything about the existence/behavior of deities, so rather that let conjecture about things beyond my control govern how I live my life, I would focus on the tangible sources of purpose and meaning around me (friends mainly)

When I was very young, I called 911 on a pay phone because I thought you needed to put money in to make any call. I was wrong.
