Another @ancestry update! They’ve tweaked my numbers again, but swipe to see my great grandfather’s WWI draft card and how pinpoint accurate they are about Southern Italy. The communities are impressive. I forgot to post here, but @ancestry updated communities and got it exactly right, adding #Campobasso to mine. 🇮🇹 Early NY/NJ settlers used to be more accurate, but they changed it to CT/NY for some reason unknown to me. I can only see this update through the #Ancestry app or on the desktop, not in the #AncestryDNA app, oddly enough. The long awaited @ancestry #ancestrydnaupdate! They tweaked some things and others fell off (like European Jewish and I know I have some up in my tree from #Frisians), and Ireland and Scotland seem a touch high to me for having one 2nd GGM from #CountyMayo (opinions?), and they’re still hiding #DutchAncestry in the England&NWE category, and I feel Italy has maybe been shortchanged somehow, but this actually makes a lot of sense to me when I break down the 25% contribution from each grandparent.
