Hiya, I've been binging your fics recently and I'm wanting to start writing a fic for destiel that slammed into me while driving and had to rush to write it down but it's pretty hard getting motivated to continue writing it as I'm not very well versed in writing what I think or imagine epically dialogue, do you have any tips that could help with getting what you want written down aswell as dialogue?💙💙
Oh hi!!! I'm so excited that you had an idea and want to write it out!! My biggest tips is to write it down in any way you can - bullet points, outline, notes that make sense to no one but you. then you have something to string together when it comes to writing prose! (you can also just start writing the prose right away and see what happens, but sometimes that stalls me out if i'm super excited about an idea then get lost in the weeds trying to write something out with proper grammar, good dialogue, etc)
i know this is basically boiling down to "just write!" but hopefully it's in an encouraging way haha. i also find motivation talking to people about the idea and having someone get excited about it, so if you ever need that my inbox/DMs is open for that too:D
