(I mean, I guess I don’t know for sure that this is the same cosplayer as last year, but it seems pretty likely)

PRIDE Across Our Four States
The historic U.S. Supreme Court ruling in favor of marriage equality on June 26th couldn’t have come at a better time as we close out the month of June, Pride month. Pride month is an annual month-long observance of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) history, achievements, community, and activism, celebrated with parades, parties, and other events across the country. The month commemorates the 1969 Stonewall Riots, the event that sparked the modern LGBTQ rights movement.
Pride month gives us an opportunity to reaffirm our commitment to the rights and health of LGBTQ people. In partnership with our political arm, we participated at seven Pride events across our four states. Pride events and rallies have already taken place in Anchorage, Boise, Honolulu, Olympia and Seattle. This past Sunday, we marched in Seattle’s 41st Annual Pride Parade with hundreds of thousands of people. You can see more on our Facebook page here: Pride at PPGNHI. Events in Tacoma take place on July 11 and in Bremerton on July 18.
Planned Parenthood believes that LGBTQ rights and reproductive rights are deeply connected to civil rights for all Americans. We couldn’t be more thrilled with last week’s historic decision and we see this as a major victory for LGBTQ equality and a tremendous step forward for this country.
Everyone deserves to feel loved, secure, and valued — no matter what.
