hello there fun little spin off of that headcanon, melissa KNEW that erica’s parents didn’t want her.... or that her mom at least was shit. like when melissa said that she didn’t want to call erica’s mom?? and then the hunt confirmed that her mom didn’t pick her up or even answer meslissa’s calls because her mom thought it was a parent teacher conference she missed again. like.... this is all actually canon... and the erica x melissa dynamic is mega important to me with one line like...

samantha had the tendency to be short-tempered nowadays. she was quick to snap at others, to yell instead of listen to reason. it was a bad habit, but after all she had been through       could you blame her? virtually everything annoyed her. the squeaks of someone pulling out a chair, people slamming the door shut, strangers speaking to her when she was clearly clouded with thoughts. it was unfair to others, she knew that. sam looked up at the guy, her face twisting into a faint look of guilt. ❝ sorry     i’m just.. i’m having a pretty sucky day. ❞
