Hope was staring blindly into the enormously large building before her; her blue eyes didn’t blink for even a split second, her mind completely turned off. She was so lost in her own thoughts that she didn’t even notice the person that rushed into her petite frame, until the moment her body hit the concrete. “Ouch —..” She chuckled, “I couldn’t be more clumsy if I tried.”

‘ oh -- shit, ’ stiles starts as he basically bodychecks a random girl on the sidewalk. the thought of speeding to his destination is ( poof ! ) gone from his mind and he’s turning back toward the girl, eyes scanning for any obvious injuries. ‘ i am so sorry, that was definitely on me. ’ finally, he offers his hand to help her up. ‘ are you okay ? ’

‘ not a whole lot. mostly one brand of demon -- the oni -- and then some other bits and pieces about others. ’ the bits and pieces thanks to magnus who had actual experience with them. researching different types of demons was newer to him. ‘ like, every other supernatural being is more my speed. ’

‘ uhh.. could you be more exact than that, by any chance ? ’ those words are almost enough for him to process what she’s saying. it’s not that out of the box when a dead friend has come back to life, but he needs to hear more.

“Nah, you’re just a totally awful person towards me.” Not that Isaac could say anything considering he treated Stiles the exact same way. Folding his arms across his chest, he couldn’t bring himself to believe a single word that slipped past the other’s lips. “Yeah, well, I’m not okay. I haven’t been since that evil twin of yours decided to take away the only person I had left.”

‘ well, not just you. ’ it’s not really something he can defend when it’s true. isaac has made it possible for stiles to worry about him and be annoyed with him at the same time. it’s a punch to the gut to be reminded of the nogitsune. the words cause stiles’ brow to furrow and he blinks a few times in quick succession. have any of them been okay since then ? they’d all neglected to talk about it. isaac had done one better by moving. ‘ you had scott. why did you leave ? ’

Peter rolled his eyes. “I’m not going to murder anyone, Stiles.” he countered. “Besides, thanks to Eichen, I’m completely in control of that side anyway. But that doesn’t mean I don’t enjoy our little banter fests."
