who: charlie hughes @anchorsfm where: near the little library in penny lane
This was a small stack of books compared to what Brandon usually donated to the Little Library. He had a problem and that problem was that he couldn't stop buying books. When he'd first started writing his manuscript, he'd spent hours at the bookstore buying "source material" as he called it, and convincing himself that he couldn't rightfully take up space for hours in the store if he didn't purchase at least one thing, but that had quickly become an unsustainable practice. As a result, he'd moved to working from the library. That way, he could access the books without having to purchase them, but that still left him with more books than he had space for. So, now, each week he'd select a few and surrender them to the little library in hopes that they would find better permanent homes.
It had become such a habit that Brandon hadn't really been paying attention to his surroundings, a fact that would usually not bother him but which he now desperately regretted as he stood face to face with Charlie Hughes. It had been a while since he'd seen the other man. After his injury, Charlie had retired and Bran's attention had remained on his own career; he'd hardly had time to keep up with the life of someone who was barely even an acquaintance. Still, he was a bit surprised to see the other man here. "So," he spoke without preamble, "this is where you've gotten up to."

they've been prepping for what feels like forever, and it shows on julian's face. the fur on his collar is scratching at his neck in the wrong ways, and the heavy boots for their christmas get up are weighing him down after so many hours. “who's idea was it to go carolling, again ?” he asks, to no one in particular, but definitely ruining the take. he's not much of a singer, but he plays a mean triangle, which he dings just after he asks. “i'm just saying, we could be doing a production of ELF or something.”

"and i kept telling her, that's not how it goes- wait-" danny pauses mid sentence, brain wiping out the previous thought he had fully "off topic but, you know why i moved here- how come you never told me why you moved here?" he isn't one to always switch a topic that quickly, but danny does have his moments "we can continue that conversation afterwards, i actually need to know your answer!" he's acting like he remembers where his mind was 5 seconds ago.

“don't me mad at me, okay ? you have to promise.” she starts, jutting her pinky out at ike. he'd been there for the aftermath of their original meeting, so she could only hope he'd be supportive of her reuniting with meredith. “i might be, maybe, spending some time with someone.”
𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: ESTATE SALE, PENNY LANE ( @anchorsfm )
“ike, you have to buy these !!” she bounces over to him, holding a pair of vintage fendi sunglasses marked for only TWENTY - FIVE DOLLARS. if there was one thing she could do, it was find a good bargain. “if you don't, i'll have no choice but to shame you for the rest of our lives. you can't let a good find pass you by, those are the estate sale rules,” nodding as if she'd been to several meetings with the estate sale committee about it. “have you found anything for me yet ?”

all it takes is one look at her smart watch before she crashes into the person right in front of her , in which she swore the path was clear the last time she checked . luckily she manages to keep her balance instead of falling flat on her ass . “ the fuck is wrong— ” words are cut off mid sentence once she takes a closer look at the culprit that has just interrupted her morning run , who turns out to be none other than charlie . oh great , what a way to start ( ruin ) her day . gianna lets out a heavy sigh , features softening a tad bit . “ where did you even come from ? ” there is no malice in her tone this time , just genuine curiosity .

"Have you given any thought to.what you and Ms. Arden are going to put on the calendar next year after such a successful spring musical?" Vic was impressed, but it required a lot of forethought even on their part. It was an easy start to the conversation and it was only a matter of time before it changed but they had wanted to get a mental head start. "As long as Hamilton is NEVER done at Coral Cove, I can maneuver."
