Totally fucking forgot about this??
What the fuck. Did ANYONE remember this?
Sorry for a second ask but I can't help but obsess over the idea of your species having their own languages and I just want to know more about them. As I am a conlanger at heart and love languages spoken by nonhumans.
Also, what do the Quill Cats, Butterfly Manticores, Furulkas, Hellhorns, and other species look like. Do they have art? will they remain an idea in your head? will you release them in the future? I'm very curious about them but will respect it if you don't have anything visual on them in the long run.
Anyways, Imma just going to send this to you and wish you an unironically good life.
Hey, thank you for the interest ^^ I wish you a good life too! I did release art and info for all of them way back when, I think its all on this blog? kinda near the start. Most of them don't have languages, sorry :(. They don't form societies or large social groups, and are distinctly non-human mentally even if they rival human level intelligence. They generally are intelligent enough to understand language if they have made an effort to learn but they seldom see a need to. These kinds of humanoid monsters are very rare, and generally solitary. Only hellhorn lynxes and Tatzylsnatch commonly interact among themselves enough to need formalized communication methods (the latter with their tickles and not with other Tatzyls) but in these cases their communication is crude, and usually limited to their particular little group. Since tickles can often retain their knowledge of language Tatzyls are more likely to be able to communicate with people effectively, and Tatzyls (who feed on magic) are particularly fond of turning mages who can speak spell coordinates.

The Pikachu Eater
This ancient Neopets characters comes from an early version of the gallery of evil, where a lot of villains originally got a bio. This seemed to be in line with the sort of shitposty nature of the primordial Neopia, but there is a small nod to this creep even today if you mouse over the book on the introductory page.
I hope whoever gets this bracelet at WWWY truly appreciates it.
