“Cold doesn’t bother you, does it?”  While he couldn’t say the cold ever bothered him, Sephiroth did realize a little protection from the weather was necessary.  Plus, in situations such as the one they were about to leap into, the wind whipping snow around was downright unpleasant.

“I don’t suppose I’m referring to your speed or accuracy.”  He smiled to himself, adjusting the straps of his coat.  He was well aware that he would look like a shadow descending, clearing a valley of monsters with hopes that they would never fully notice there was danger amongst them.

And hopefully only monsters.  “Is cold merely an irritation?  Or less than even that?”

“Do you ever just imagine all the possibilities that could come from taking different paths?”

Aerith was kneeling in the corner alley between two buildings. Her eyes, firmly on a solo plant struggling to grow with low nutrients and light. A soft smile playing on her face before she traced her finger up the stem it growing around her finger before blooming into a small flower.

“So how can I help you? Or you just gonna stand behind me like out of a horror movie?”

"Could I ask a favour? Could you grab that book for me?" Skylar asked. She'd been jumping, searching for a stepstool, trying to climb the shelves, and trying to find a taller person just to be able to reach the book on one of the very highest shelves. Why everyone in the damn building was so damn tall to warrant putting things constantly out of her reach, she would never know. "I've been trying to get it for like, 20 minutes."

“Learn.....how to be okay again? You mean this happens often?” The blade blinked since granted there was a very vague memory of his master saying that to him after one of Dojo’s experiments so perhaps this was the same case? “Do you need anything that will make things okay? Something to drink or like a blanket?”

 She shifted on the ground of her containment, looking guiltily to the metal floor next to her as she muttered, “not allowed.” There was nothing inside the glass cylinder, not even a sleeping mat.  She’d been acting out again and they had taken it away; it was also the reason for the nearly faded bruise over a portion of her face and the dried remains of a nose bleed. Pitting her against a foe she could not beat for combat testing was their way of punishing the experiment without repercussions from her maker.

She was quiet for a moment but went back to meet the eyes with the visitor, the purple hue was fascinating and her first experience with the colour. “How do you keep getting in here? Are you an assistant?” if he was she’d probably get in trouble for speaking but he really didn’t look like the others- no white-coat for one thing.

She wasn't sure how to approach it at first. Though it was incredibly strange that Sephiroth's swords would just be...perched here. In the middle of nowhere. The thoughts that ran through her mind was mostly about how to dispose of the weapon. Such horrible memories lingered within it's design, it made Tifa tremble just being in it's vicinity.

Slowly, the barmaid takes a step closer, and closer. Close enough to rest a hand around the hilt. She remembered wielding it once; remembered how she tried to avenge her father only to be intercepted by Sephiroth's keen eye. Her scar burned just looking at it. Tears welling in her eyes and threatening to pool over her lids.

She finds herself letting go immediately, not entirely sure why she should, but obeying the silent instinct that she was not to touch it and retreat. Like the sword was alive and yelling a silent scream.

Or maybe it was just her own memories haunting her simply looking at the blade...

Now that she had defeated the Whispers of Fate with her friends, Aerith felt like everyone was FREE. Of course, her friends and her would still need to work hard so they could defeat Sephiroth, but they could probably prevent a lot of events to happen, now that the whispers weren’t around anymore. If Sephiroth had pushed them in that direction, it was because he wanted to succeed, but she couldn’t allow it. He was a monster. The only reason why she had wanted to follow the former SOLDIER’s plan was because she wanted to save innocent people who had died during those events.

She had left the camp during the evening. She knew it wasn’t necessarily the best thing to do, but she needed some moments on her own to THINK properly, and she could only have them when she wasn’t at her friends’ side. She had brought her staff just in case she had to fight against some monsters, but she hadn’t thought she would cross path with Masamune. Of course she recognized him.

“You’re not with Sephiroth ?” She asked calmly.
