I think that if you play canon characters and you are not open to crossovers, then you're shooting yourself in the foot. Crossovers are the lifeblood of an RPC, whether it be canon crossovers or canon with fandomless OCs.

Especially on Tumblr as we've gotten a lot smaller then we were before, crossovers are kind of needed and, this might sound harsh, but if you're not open to it because of lack of knowledge then I'm sorry that's...a very weak excuse. You can google things or maybe learn about this other franchise along with your muse.

What I'm saying is, without crossovers the RPC will die. I'm not saying you should just crossover with everyone, but the option should still be open to at least some.
