Nile landscape in Lower Nubia

The most important raw material in secular architecture came from Egypt's main artery, the Nile. This river transports mud over thousands of kilometers from East Africa, through Nubia, and deposits it in the Nile valley in Egypt during the annual floods. This mud is used to make sun-baked bricks.

Motherlands

Old and new go hand in hand

The high buildings touch the sky in this ancient land

The mighty temples tell a tale of times once so grand

The thought of that, just makes me sad

Its seems that, nothing can withstand a humans hand

On the other hand, it makes me understand

That everything that’s build, is destined to fall

And everything yet to come, will one day strand

The world demands, the universe expands

Nothing is offhand, nothing is unplanned

Everything that happens, happens under divine command
