I’m gonna admit: I’m a little disappointed Tisarwat didn’t get to punch Anaander Mianaai in the face. I respect and appreciate that she did so metaphorically, but I would have like it to be literal as well. I really would have liked it to be literal.

I'm still leery of the comparison of Breq to Sam Vimes because while it's true they share a certain...inner rage, sense of fairness&justice, and disregard for authority, they're otherwise really incredibly different? Like, their motives, attitudes, the ways they respectively disregard authority...it just doesn't sit quite right with me. On the other hand, again the personalities and circumstances are vastly distinct, but the Vimes&Carrot vibe I get from Breq interacting with Tisarwat is spectacular.

I need to make a list about everything I love about this scene but I can't duo so long because a) I'm crying (Breq's crying, been crying since she woke up) and b) I NEED TO KEEP GOING AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS
