Don’t have much energy to draw lately, so like everytime this happens, I drew Ancyllis in a dress.

This drawing took me litteraly weeks with everything that could go wrong going wrong and I almost gave up on it more than once. When I began to work on it, Mouche didn’t even exist, so I had to stick them in the back: Thankfully they turned out very good but I cried enough over that drawing to water my one plant for several weeks. Hope you like it!

Vessel Growth Guide Part 1/2

Today we will list the signs your Vessel is about to start their Growing phase!

First sign, the Vessel might grow listless, and show a distinct lack of energy.

Shell might show cracks that will glow with SOUL

The external layer of their mask will start peeling, like dead skin or shell. It’s important to not let them scratch at it, even if it itches, or the small wound might get infected.

The Vessel will then naturally start finding a natural source of SOUL to help the metamorphosis, most often a Hot Spring but it could also be a SOUL totem

Then come the hard part, but please, don’t panic!

This is absolutely normal, even if the change can seem drastic!

You now have a Vessel Cocoon! Next time we will see what to do during the metamorphosis process!

Vessel Growth Guide Part 2/2

It will take six to eight weeks for the cocoon to reach its final size. During that time it will grow more opaque, and start to shine softly from the inside.

The cocoon itself is made of something close to bark, no doubt due to the vessels’ affiliation with the Root.

After the sixth week, some limited interactions are possible with the vessel inside, though they will have no memory of this upon hatching.

You can say the Vessel is ready to emerge by the sudden absence of glow from the cocoon. Usually, they will hatch two to three days after their cocoon grows dim.

Thank to their sharp claws, piercing the membrane is usually pretty easy, though there is no harm in facilitating the hatching by piercing the cocoon yourself, if you see the Vessel struggling.

And Tadaaaa! Here they are!

They might be a bit dizzy and desorientated at first, but don’t worry!

They will recognize you very quickly!

However hatching is a tiring process and they will be exhausted! And their shell will still be very tender, so the best thing to do is to get them in a bed as quickly as you can!

It will take a few days of rest for the Vessel to recuperate after the exhausting ordeal and for their shell to harden, just let them sleep!

Your Vessel friend has now reached their adult form! Watch as they struggle with the sudden growth spurt for the next two months!
