rewatched the westerland confrontation episode and

absolutely missed it the first time (thank you @blueiight for pointing this out) that while reinhard did look shocked as soon as the man started to speak, that last line made him visibly taken aback. and basically there are only two people he would consider family, and annerose is still alive yet...

basically if you go by this episode alone, reinhard only regretted westerland as far as how it would bring something between him and kircheis
