Hiii so if you put your fish in a bowl you're a piece of shit and I hate you 🙃

#rn im going off my experience with betta fish #bettas need five gallons MINIMUM #they need a heater #and a filter #bowls are usually 1-2 gallons #you cant attack a filter or a heater #bettas need places to hide #but with a bowl there are no corners for them to hide in #and you cant fit plants and hides in a tiny bowl #theres not enough stimulus for them #their water quality will be be bad #and if you dont know enough about fish to know that they shouldnt be in a bowl #then you shouldnt own a fish #at all #ever #period #tske care of your fucking fish and dont put them in a bowl #otherwise ill appear in your house and fucking steal your fish because it is straight up animal abuse #fuck you #i was just on amazon looking for a fish bowl for UNRELATED REASONS #not to put a fish in #but the reviews are all assholes who were only concerned about the fact that they couldnt see their fish through the cheap plastic #meanwhile the pictures they posted showed a poor fish with 0-1 plants and maybe some gravel #god i hate them all #and if you put your fish in a bowl then i hate you and you dont deserve to have animals ever #sorry for being so aggressive except maybe im not sorry

This is Charlie, or now better known to the house as Mad Lad. He's a good little fish. Yesterday, we had a good scare with him. His eye bulged out, causing a huge panic in our house. I proceeded to look for answers and found out a kind of aquarium antibiotic may help (the internet kept telling me that he might have an infection called Popeye). So I rushed to the nearest Petsmart and got him what he needed.

In total, I spent $30 on a fish, not knowing if I could save his life.

We cleaned out his tank, his little house, his little fake plant, his filter,his gravel. We gave him new clean water, put him back in and gave him his antibiotic.

Today, little Mad Lad is doing way better! You can see where his eye should be instead of just this bulged out area, he's swimming happily, and still being a happy fish!

All in all, it was a $30 well spent on our little Charlie who is on the road to recovery as we speak!
