She accidentally got her best friend/mentor killed, then brought him back via a necromancer which he did NOT appreciate, so she’s been dealing with the guilt from that series of events. And she would For Sure bang a dragon

ooohhh i really like the idea of a backstory where they’ve already gone on a different adventure but now they’re trapped dealing with the repercussions. it’s a nice subversion if a lot of dnd character tropes! aurora sounds like a sweetheart too, but one that’s definitely a little too ready for action which i’m a Big fan of
