#since i've lately gotten access to all the audiobooks i've been pulling up his scenes to try and get him right for this one #fic i've been working on #AND AUGHHHHH #I JUST. CAN'T GET HIM DOWN....#i think it's particularly challenging because I'm confident in how I write maggie and she's so often just #exaggerated and her emotions are big around other people #she draggggssss her feet on tasks she doesn't want to do she has a Nasal quality in her voice when she whines and gets sassy #She's pitched and when she's angry its either No! AGH! You! Humph! or like. serious and low. she spits venom with her words #she's not always big and in fact those BIG moments kinda are meant to contrast she can be so Small. She sometimes hides and shrinks in on h #rself #her guilt and grief are tucked away emotions best seen in her pov when she refuses to express it #AND MAX ITS. IDK MAYBE I REALLY NEED TO REVIEW SOLELY HIS MOMENTS FOR A WHILE BUT #I Think its cuz he tends to be less expressive bc yes he has annoyed and excited moments but. he's kinda always hesitant? ish? to express t #at in a way different way Maggie does #I'm realizing he's less noticeably awkward too.#thats more Adrian's thing #side note how i've been writing max makes me think of Adrian so it's like. welp good news I can probably go ahead in my adrian pov drafts w #th confidence but bad news. I want Max to be accurate TOO #anyway i just need to figure out how to Act max #dang this fic makes me think of the time i spent trying to get HBDEA's characters characterization accurate #i just really likethis fic's concept and i want to do it justice

sometimes people are completely blind to story and such just because they think the characters are attractive and I find this a pet peeve of mine
