They knelt on a nest that Garl had built, a setup originally intended as a spot where they could cuddle on when they finished eating the feast he’d prepared. Though from the grin Garl shot Valere when she’d climbed into his lap, along with the supplies he’d set up in an unobtrusive basket next to the nest, he apparently had also been looking forward to the possibility of more.

Lol. I'm going through and uploading anything that is long enough for a chapter. It was driving me nuts bc on breaks I wanted to keep my momentum up in my head by re-reading, but everything is on my laptop at home.

(And unless I move desks to be isolated in the back, I don't want to bring my laptop in and accidentally have people see what I'm writing...assuming I'd even be allowed to have a personal laptop in the office).
