I had a bizarre conversation with a Lyft driver the other day about Tumblr, and I was talking about how they banned porn but half my followers are bornbots, and they went, "that's good though! More followers" and I had to try to explain that many of us go through and block them because they are annoying and follower count means nothing. At all. it's not monitized to get more, so why have them? Like, I have a few hundred now. Assuming half are porn and of what's left are deactivated, that's still over 100 people who theoretically see my posts But the only one who reads my damn posts is my mom
