Supersonic MV

Since we know they are filming the music video for Supersonic I figured I’d put my two cents in.

For me the song feels more closely related to Carpe Diem than demoni in the “dance ability” sence. It feels like this would be playing in a movie when the main character finally lets loose and goes out dancing/clubbing with friends for the first time in a long time. Like they have been craving to get out and let loose and now that they can they won’t come back to reality until morning.

Musically I can hear the demoni bass line so that might be where that came from which would also add to the desperation to finally letting go.

Lyrically he talks about drinking a tonic made of moonlight by Cupid that gets his head spinning and hearing a woman’s voice until morning comes. Which is not the first time we’ve gotten the moment/feeling ending with sunrise from him.

All this put together I think we will get something along the lines of this: one of the band members (probably Bojan but who knows they may branch out) gets heart broken or is longing for a woman (he supports the gays for others not himself) and he decides to go out and party. He gets super drunk-I envision Jan handing him a mixed drink that he throws back without thinking about it-and dancing until sunrise all the while getting blurry flashes of the woman in the crowd the whole night. The song gives pinkish vibes so some good bisexual lighting to really drive it home.

building off of my earlier thoughts surrounding (sk) hunters and their existence as an extension of shamanism, i think it’s important to note that the first gen were the closest depiction of traditional shamanism more geared towards the returning of souls in its foundational practice. as the years go on, this practice is overshadowed by the slaying aspect. the end of the movie marks a return to older practices
