Veronaville Market part 2
As I told you in the last post, this building is a shell - and a very good reproduction of the Sims 2 version. @danjaley recreated it exactly as it was in the Sims 2 - missing walls and doors and all. She did add a staircase into a basement, where she placed EA's grocery rabbithole building. Since I use rabbithole rugs and doors, first thing I did was delete that part of her build. Plus - since I have Seasons installed - my farmers refurbished the building, replacing missing walls, windows and doors.
This is the end of the building closest to the orchard and vineyard. Because of that, I placed the nectar-making machine in the one room and in the kitchen area, I added the canning station and that baker's oven. Where the grey steps to the outside are, is where she had her steps down into her basement.
In the 3 small fenced off areas that EA had, I placed some skill objects. In the middle one is where I placed my grocery rabbithole rug. It's supposed to be a 'fish market' but I don't really have a whole lot of fish stuff, so it is what it is.
Then on the other end of the 1st floor, I put the Kitkat Cafe - using some of Sandy's - from @aroundthesims - CC that she created for a cat cafe. One of my all-time favorite sets - mostly because I have and love cats.
And this is the 2nd floor that I did nothing to. Like the Sims 2 version, it's just a walkway.
Then - right next door - I placed another live show venue. It's an old pre-Showtime lot from Mod the Sims, called the Bandshell. I added the Showtime stage and benches and renovated the bathrooms.
And finally, I gave the Montys a church to go to, since they'd rather drop over dead than step into the same church as those miserable Capps. This was created by @nilxis and was over on Mod the Sims. Other than redo some of the landscaping - since the original was on a 30x20 lot and this is 30x40, I did nothing to this lot. It's a really nice lot.
Then I went back into CAS to create some more dead sims for my cemeteries.
