So, I was doing math earlier... yes I know, shocker that.
And I figured I might as well calculate out the wingspan of them boys. (ish- I’m shit at math so these are tentative numbers) Also ish-on the wing usages.
Roland ( 181.72 (5′11.5″) )
Wing Pattern: Peregrine Falcon
Wing Pairs: 3.
Pair 1 - Shoulder wings (the ones you would commonly find on winged folk) Wingspan (370 cm // 12.1 feet) - primarily for strength and heavy lifting.
Pair 2 - Second shoulder set/middle of the back Wingspan (360 cm // 11.8 feet) - primarily for maneuverability.
Pair 3 - Lower back Wingspan (348 cm // 11.4 feet) - the brakes.
Olivier (183.35 cm (6′0.1″) )
Wing Pattern: Stellar Sea Eagle
Wing Pairs: 3
Pair 1 - Shoulder wings (the ones you would commonly find on winged folk) Wingspan (433 cm // 14.2 feet) - primarily for strength.
Pair 2 - Second shoulder set/middle of the back Wingspan (440 cm // 14.4 feet) - largest of the three sets, used for gliding and speed.
Pair 3 - Lower back Wingspan ( 410 cm // 13.45 feet) - the brakes and maneuverability.
Mira (172.96 cm // 5′8.09″)
Wing Pattern: Common Raven
Wing Pairs: 3
Pair 1 - Shoulder wings (the ones you would commonly find on winged folk) Wingspan (407 cm // 13.35 feet) - strength.
Pair 2 - Second shoulder set/middle of the back Wingspan (390 cm // 12.7 feet) - maneuverability
Pair 3 - Lower back Wingspan (385 cm // 12.63 feet) - the brakes.
Things that I find amusing. XD Roland’s wings are technically smaller than Mira’s despite him being taller than her. Peregrine Falcon’s are tiny.
