anyways, not all afab trans people are transmasc.
and this is me just speaking from my experiences as a perisex nonbinary person, I can’t even begin to speak for intersex people.
But if you use “transmasc” as shorthand for “afab” you’re leaving people out of the discussion.
If you mean to talk specifically only about transmasculine people, then you should at least make sure you’re doing that on purpose, rather than just assuming it’s an umbrella term that includes all afab trans people.
Abortion is not just a women’s issue, and it’s also not just a “women’s and transmasc” issue. It’s a “people who can become pregnant” issue, and that’s not exclusive to women and transmasculine people.
Nonbinary people exist, and we shouldn’t have to let ourselves be pushed into another gender binary before we can join the conversation.
Not all trans people are transmasc, or transfem, or even transneutral.
If you’re talking about specific issues that only affect certain trans people, then make sure you’re doing it on purpose, and specify that you are talking about those people in particular. Because otherwise it just seems like you’re forgetting that nonbinary people exist who have no connection to the gender binary at all.
not all trans people are transmasc or transfem, and they are not all-inclusive terms. If you use them, make sure you are using them correctly. Make sure you remember that nonbinary people exist, and some of us want absolutely nothing to do with the gender binary.
