Sometimes I just remember how MH almost never existed. Was rejected twice before being greenlit. Some retailers didn't even want to stock it originally. No one foresaw the impact it would have. Idk I get emo about it. Because I don't know about you all, but even disregarding the pop culture impact, the personal impact it has had on me is immense.
Yes, at the end of the day it is a giant franchise made to sell dolls. That's not the part that gets me. God, I can see the heart and creativity poured into it by the actual humans working on it. That is what gets me. That is what made it the success it is.
