I love her so much
send help, i'm watching through my old captures of my JK going through the expansions from the satele shan server like it's a highlight reel and it's consuming my every waking thought
i feel like @trashmouthsugden posted the sugdenite list and suddenly i’ve gone fucking insane in my tags. i’m sorry if you just friended me and you’re like “who the FUCK IS THIS”. i’m sorry.
hi, i’m siri, and i’m fucking nuts.
One of my former professors reminded me that Kate Bush’s Wuthering Heights exists and it makes wonder
... why on earth is Wuthering Heights-ing not a thing?
Planking is a thing, Hadoukening is a thing, Milking was a thing for a hot second. You get the picture?
So why aren’t we running around in float-y dresses and twirling in circles while pulling the most overdramatic faces and screeching HEATHCLIFF! IT’S ME, YOUR CATHY, I’VE COME HOME! like a melodramatic 18 year old gothic heroine?
It is because it’s a 30 year old song and we’ve forgotten Kate Bush? Because that’s insane. This video is unforgettable. Look at these videos. They’re rife for parody and yet we largely haven’t touched them:
GLORIOUS. It’s like somehow Emily Bronte wrote this really weird, out of control novel that reached across centuries and spoke to 18 year old Kate Bush who was exploring her own weird, unstoppable voice and it merged into a British pop hit that is essential a teenage girls’ gothic wet dream of throwing herself around a misty field that managed to make sense across 170 years.
Where are my videos of grown ass adult women putting on red dresses and emoting their eyeballs out to this? Can we start this? I refuse to believe that I’m the only girl who’s lipsynched to this in the bathroom mirror when they were a teen.
