one of the hardest things to do after experiencing SA or DV is learning how to redefine and rediscover forms of intimacy

#at least that’s my opinion #and experience #well i’ve never experienced dv but i would imagine it would be the same or similar #tw #sa #dv #trauma #healing

I actually have a dedicated playlist of songs that I associate with my kintypes or that make me feel shifty that you can check out here if you’d like!

Overall the music I associate with my therianthropy is acoustic folky type stuff, but for my different types specifically it can vary a bit.

I feel the most connected to my dog type when listening to said acoustic folky junk and music that is more self reflective lyrically, but my coyote type I associate with songs that are a bit more gritty and faster. which I think can be attributed to the fact that I am an urban coyote and songs with more grit remind me of the city I’ve grown up in! I associate my wolf type with a bunch of different songs and genres, anything that mentions wolves is usually put there, I also really heavily associate my wolf theriotype with my childhood so lots of songs that triggered wolf feelings when I was a kid (before I knew that’s what they were lol) come to mind.

Here’s some specific songs that heavily connect with each of my types:

Karst shepherd: poison root- Alex g

Western coyote: I hear the rain- violent femmes

Coastal wolf: old man- Neil young & wolf- big thief (couldn’t pick just one oops)
