Cat food, y'all.

Have you ever done that thing where you're like "I am interested in XYZ product, I am going to research it." and then you research it too much and now it keeps you up at night?

Cat food, y'all.  

It's making me lose my mind because It's very much one of those "knowing what goes into the sausage" sort of situations.  Months ago I read up too much about the Purina dry cat food I started out giving the cats and I switched to a really good grain-free brand that I am okay spending $33 for 15lbs. and it last me about 2 and a half weeks for the three cats.

But now I'm reading all this stuff about how it's better to feed your pets wet food and not dry food and there is this really REALLY good wet food I'm researching and I'd love to get it.....but it's $130 every three weeks.

I don't know if I can really drop an extra $100 every few weeks on cat food.  I mean, I could right this second, but if any big bills or whatnot come up I would be way too much of an extra expense.  

But on the other hand, this shit would be super good for them and would be way healthier and I think they would make them healthier in the long run so there would be fewer health issues down the road.

My next step is to see how difficult and cost effective it would be to MAKE my own cat food. 

(don't even get me started on what I've been learning about dog food.  Someone needs to take the internet away from me.)
