See i will drop the link because I love this fic but I feel like I need to put a few disclaimers first

First of all, as I mentioned Carolina and Tex being siblings is not a main point in this fic, like at all, but I will link specifically the carolina flashback so if you want you can just read that on its own

However, if you do decide to read the whole fic, be warned that it gets pretty dark at times, and also you might spend the first volume being annoyed at the reds and blues and also Wash for all the terrible decisions they keep making. Above all else, read the warnings.

(Also jsyk the carolina flashback is like 55 chapters in, so if you decide to start from the beginning it'll be a while until you get there)

Summary: Donut, after murdering his roommate in self-defence, is sentenced for life at Valhalla Penitentiary, with a chance of parole in twenty years. However, just surviving long enough for a chance at parole is going to be a challenge. He's trapped with smugglers, blackmailers, conmen and serial killers, after a life of doing nothing more criminal than not looking both ways before crossing the road.
