Okay I just want to rant about the hate Swindler gets from Cutthroat stans so I guess I'll just put this under the cut so no one is subjected to my unrelenting rage— I feel like I might make someone mad but....
Before I start, I love Cutthroat. He is my favorite. BUT, I also love Swindler. And the hate she gets from Cutthroat stans who (I presume to be jealous that he has a fascination with her) is so rage inducing to me. Like the amount of hate women get in fandoms because people are jealous of them in some way is astounding. My account is NOT a safe zone for Swindler hate. If you hate Swindler, and it's got anything to do with how she rightfully treated Cutthroat, get off my blog.
She had every right to slap him.
She had every god damn right to be uncomfortable by his advances.
Stop hating on women for being uncomfortable with a man you find attractive.
To add, I also should mention that I do not ship these two. I love them both on their own, but together I feel uncomfortable doing so realizing just how god damn uncomfortable Swindler was. Sure, she may have respected or acknowledged him at the end when she flipped his body back around after he died....but she was STILL visibly not okay with him. I don't mind people shipping them, I even enjoy looking at the art, but I just can't. I can't knowing Swindler wouldn't like it.
Yes, I write toxic relationship content or I teeter on it. That's for me and the people who enjoy to read it because we consent to it.
Also, if you ship Cutthroat and Swindler, that's fine this wasn't to hate on anyone who does, I'm just .....TIRED OF SEEING OTHERS SHIT ON HER OR REDUCE HER CHARACTER TO NOTHING BUT A MINDLESS INSERT FOR CUTTHROAT TO DO WHAT HE WANTS TO. Swindler is her own character. She's got her own personality.
And don't even get me STARTED on Doctor...I weirdly have a feeling that if she was a man... people would adore her. People love evil men, funny how it's different because it's Doctor and she's a woman...
