How did Khore become a slave? Was he sold, captured or kidnapped? Do slaves get marked as possession (tattoos, brandings, a certain scar...)? Is it a "once a slave, always a slave" scenario or do they work towards surviving until a certain time/point in their life where they could possibly be free? Is the owner of a slave allowed to do whatever they want to them or are there still rules to follow?

He was captured by slavers after passing out on the battlefield, and then sold (well, technically hasn't yet, we're still at the start of his story currently).

He's gonna get a nice shock collar for being extra feisty :) I haven't thought if he may get branded... considering that now... the shame of it does sound delicious 👀

Where he'll be sold, slaves are forever (save for very special cases), however there's a difference between pure slaves, and pets, which are glorified company slaves. He's gonna be the former, made to fight others for entertainment and gambling.

Slaves have no rights, only punishable act is damaging somene else's slave (read: property) without permission.

There are usually some limits on pets, purely for keeping up appearances. Basically, some acts are considered bad taste.
