I just wanna ask if you guys know where the theory gaster has holes on his hands came from?(or have multiple hands on that matter too) Also if it's not too much trouble, can you give me your thoughts or theory on that red soul (symbol?/real soul?) that is located on the power supply at the true lab? Many have speculated that Mystery Man is Gaster, and the Mystery Man sprite appears to have holes in what looks like his hands. Whether or not these are hands with holes is not confirmed, but many have taken this sprite as inspiration for the idea.
Regarding the multiple hands, the Riverperson occasionally warns Frisk about “the man who speaks in hands.”
Given that the W.D. in W.D. Gaster likely stands for wingdings and wingdings uses glyphs of hand gestures, many have adopted the idea that wingdings is the font version of sign language. However, there is no confirmation that this is who Riverperson is speaking about.

As for the heart symbol on the generator, this is not a red soul. The generator only supplies power to the elevators in the true laboratory, and that would be a waste of a human soul that could be used to break the barrier. It might be more symbolic of power or even foreshadowing a certain boss fight with a flower.
