One of the struggles I have with Vhae is that I vm get more genderfluid vibes from him much like you do from Corellon; happily one or the other. But also?? I think Vhae almost exclusively lives in male alignment for the benefit of the people who need him most. So you will almost NEVER see him portrayed as female, bc v little else would be so immediately alienating to those he's trying to help.

The only thing I wish Lord of the Rings had in common with Game of Thrones is-- I wish the books and adaptations had different titles? In the GoT/ASOIAF fandom, the TV series is called Game of Thrones, while the book series is called A Song of Ice and Fire. So it’s easier to know which version of the story someone is talking about, it’s easier to keep the tags separate, etc.

I just wish there was the same clear distinction between “Movie Lord of the Rings” and “Book Lord of the Rings” too, because they’re also such different stories

Is it bad that it bothers me when people forget that Alfredo has arthritis like in fics? It’s just he’s really good at games while having that and I have severe issues with one of my wrists and he kinda gives me hope that I can continue playing and even be good at playing video games despite the pain.

nah it’s not bad, it bothers me a lot too, and i’m in the same boat you are. and it rankles that people forget or ignore it like… it’s still shitty when you ignore a fictional character’s canon disability, but we’re talking about a real-ass man who people write as if it’s better that in their fics he’s not arthritic

i’ve literally seen the longest most dramatic underdog/beating the odds/overcoming all the obstacles/always made fun of posts about 3 out of 4 members of one direction, like please make up your mind, not EVERY member of the most successful boyband probably in history could possibly all have such awful Odds Stacked Against Them(tm) in launching their solo careers, ya gotta at least stick with one of them
