1. If someone likes a ship, don’t hate on them if you don’t like it. It might not be to your taste and that’s fine but that doesn’t give you the right to harass people about their preferences.
For example, someone might ship Logicality while you ship Moxiety. So what, you both have your own preferences and that’s fine. In the grand scheme of things, it doesn’t matter. It’s two relationships between fictional characters from a fandom you’ll likely forget in ten years. Get over it.
2. Don’t harass creators. If someone wants to write a oneshot/fic(s) or make an art piece about a ship, don’t harass them. It’s their choice to make this and you have no right to tell them what not and what to create. If you care that much then make something of your own.
3. Block tags. If you hate a ship or character or just some aspect of the fandom, then block the tag! This feature exists for a reason! It takes less than a minute and is a great solution. People are pretty good about tagging things so you don’t have much to worry about. I use this feature and it’s great.
4. The ships are fictional but the creators are not. It seems like no one’s getting hurt when you heckle them online but negativity and bullying is not acceptable. There’s a real person behind that username so keep that in mind when you’re being an ass to them.
5. Remrom. There is a lot of discourse and hate about this ship. I know it makes a lot of fanders uncomfortable and that’s fine. You have the right to your own opinion. But I would like to remind you once again about blocking tags. Block the remrom tag. Simple solution instead of treating people who ship this like lepers and pariahs. They’re people too. Some people might use it as a comfort ship and that’s fine. I personally don’t like it too much but others do and they’re still nice people. You don’t have to agree but you are not allowed to harass them. If you think that bullying people who ship this is ok, then leave my blog. I don’t care if it makes you uncomfortable, you don’t get to bully others.
6. In summary, harassing people for their ship opinions is not okay. Block tags, don’t interact with the ships, just avoid the ships, but don’t torment people who do ship these ships.
