I also loved in that interview how Simon so smugly says he would gladly show all of his communications with Little Mix - please call his bluff, girls. He is so use to getting away with everything for decades. Hopefully, he is in for a rude awakening. I hope everyone can unite and take him down or at least make him go away.
Simon bluffs because he is protected by an NDA. I suspect this is also the reason that Little Mix does not directly address the split from Syco.
In the latest article they talked about their time in the United States, which would have been under Columbia Records, but did not mention Syco or Simon at all. If there is legal action, they would not be able to discuss it publicly before it is resolved.
The reason given for the Syco split, that LM were not given songwriting credit for Woman Like Me, is out of proportion to the action taken, and doesn’t explain the reason that all artists represented by Modest Management have left Syco. It is a cover for something much bigger.
I suspect it has to do with this confluence of events.
