I've been wanting to do this since... Before December, but then life happened, so here am I, on the last day of 2020 xD
2020 was a shitshow, in more ways than one. This is not about that. This is about looking for the silver lining. I just wanted to make myself think about the good things that happened, and share. If you don't want positivity, no worries. It's all under the read more, just keep scrolling ;)

My cat
Well, I said no particular order, but this one has to go first. I adopted this guy on February 8th. Just... I love him. Even when he knocks everything off my desk because I’m not giving him 100% of my attention xD
My trip to Austria
When the pandemic let up, back in June, I got to go visit @freakithechaos for the second time ever. We had to adapt our plans a bit, but despite... Some... Slight inconveniences, I think we had a great adv*nture. Next time, it's your turn to come here ;)
Now, if only we could manage to align our schedules a tiny bit better... XD
I wrote!
For some reason I keep on forgetting about it, but I wrote like, 3 fics, back in May. I had fun spiraling with @lomittz. And ao3 emails make me smile. So that makes it a good 😁
And I do still plan to continue the serie at some point 👀
The Old Guard
I know I've... Reblogged about this movie. Like, a lot. I'm aware xD. But listen. This movie's amazing. It's an action movie, which I love. With badass women leads, which I love. And the most adorable very much canon gay relationship I've seen in a while. Or like, ever, in those types of movies. Also, Matthias Schoenaerts as Booker. It's got everything.
But it's not just a good movie. It's a new fandom I've fallen into. I hadn't been reading much fanfics for the first half of the year, this definitely changed that fact. I've tried going back on my ao3 history to get an idea of how many I've read, ao3 didn't let me go over 25 pages xD.
It's people. People met through a short stint on discord, as well as tumblr and ao3. Too many to tag (and also I'm afraid of missing someone), but if you're reading this and we've met through the old guard, know I'm glad to know you 💕.
It's actors. Rediscovering Matthias Schoenaerts, and discovering Marwan Kenzari and Kiki Layne (Charlize doesn't count, she was already in my faves). But above all, Luca Marinelli. Last time I followed an actor down the rabbit hole of their filmography was Diego Luna after Rogue One. Luca's an incredible actor, and I got to watch some pretty incredible movies (and some less incredible ones as well xD). Also, as some dear friends, and I, would say: EYES
Learning a new language
I'd been wanting to do it for a while, but I finally started a new language! Italian, for reasons I'll let you guess at. ( @theodorerr and @immortal-family's perfect influence, obviously)
It's been maybe three months so I'm very much a newbie, but it's fun 🙌
Tenet
If The Old Guard was my streamed movie of 2020, Tenet was the theater one. I watched it 3 times. That's three movie tickets xD. Didn't really fall into the fandom, but I'm definitely looking forward to watching it a few more times 👀
TV shows
Binged Witcher, Mandalorian, Cursed, Umbrella Academy (thanks @xsophie2x ;))... Finally got back into watching shows 🙌
