no sarcasm, it's weird how much differently we treat the emotional wellbeing of (farm) animals and that of people. at least in indiana, psych health isnt a priority, but its pretty well known that stressed animals will look sick humans can look sick when they're stressed, too, so it's not that it isn't visible

today i had a customer tell me that i look like a suicide girl and asked if i have any pin-up pictures he could see, and i scrambled around in my head struggling to remember what a suicide girl was while awkwardly stammering “uh...thanks...i really like the pin-up style...” and when i realized what he was talking about i got so livid, but managed to brush it off. now i can’t stop thinking about it and i feel like crying, and throwing up, and finding that old man and punching him.
