I just read A Prince Among Pirates today. You dont understand. I read it in 4 hours. It came out the day before I read it. If you like gay, if you like pirates, if you like gay pirates with daddy issues who snark and flirt their way through life all while having a mental breakdown ever 30 seconds, you need to read this book. And not only are the characters amazing, BUT THE PLOT!!!!! THE BETRAYALS!!!!! THE NARRATION ON REAL WORLD ISSUES!!!!! (And yes, the romance and occasional steamy and cute scenes were perfect)

THIS IS KATIE ABDOU'S FIRST BOOK

.........this is why artists feel like their contribution to the world is worthless, even though every single beautiful piece of architecture you come acrossed in your day, every thread of clothing you own, every dinner you eat at a decent restaurant, even the design of your vehicle---all designs are drawn and created by ARTISTS. And, YES, art can be financially stable if people start recognizing the contributions put forth by the artists in the world, AND COMPENSATING THEM FOR THEIR WORK.
