Why must so many delicious meals be ruined by the inclusion of the dreaded vegetable corn?
this week's peawow ❤️
i don't know how or why, but it seems my obsession with bbc merlin morphed into early medieval lifestyle nerding? i was writing fanfiction, then spent hours researching various aspects of early medieval life, and now i'm finding myself in the kitchen with freshly bought turnips and parsnips and garlic and dome herbs trying to recreate? reinvent (cuz i don't have a single recepy, i just grabbed the ingredients they supposedly had back then and so i'm going to fuck around and find out how to cook it)? so. yes. trying to reinvent early medieval dishes
and no salt, because it was expensive!
ok yeah corn is nice but i wouldnt call it a favorite thats yours
TEEHEE
the real carbonara was the italians we offended on the way
