Why must so many delicious meals be ruined by the inclusion of the dreaded vegetable corn?
i’ve been reading about ethanol and how we (the U.S.) ended up so prevalent on corn-based ethanol, and low-and-behold, it can essentially be traced back to a retaliation embargo by OPEC for supporting Israel in the Yom Kippur War (October War) in 1973 and a capitalist trying to figure out what to do with byproducts of high fructose corn syrup and lobbying the government about it.
