it was the beginning of my sleepless nights of searching for fanfics and going into DeviantArt for MMD art

#I was so confused when I played KH2 when we were first (for me at least) to Naminé #and Roxas #I was over on a phone call with one of my schoolmates and she went 'Kairi is blonde now'#and I was like?????#even though I didn't know much about Naminé I found myself drawn to her bc she was so gentle #only after a while I found out there was in fact a game in between 1 and 2 #lol

I don’t think that Vanitas’ outfit is as much as an outfit as it is his skin. Like, we all know he wasn’t meant to exist -along with, like, half of the KH cast at this point. But he really isn’t, a heart isn’t made to be separated into light and darkness. Vanitas is literally half a heart of darkness and the will of a person. WIth Ven being the light half of the heart and the body of a person. He doesn’t have a body as much as darkness taken form, his is darkness. Literally.

Which could also mean that Vanitas is also technically a heartless as Ven is technically a nobody. There’s been really no information on Ven/Van for all the catalyst and horror they were. So who even knows with them, man.

And something I also wanted to point out is how often I kept writing ‘evil’ instead of darkness, but they’re not synonymous. We’re told to imply that they are, but Vanitas isn’t evil for existing and Ven isn’t good for having a ‘pure’ light heart.
