Hi!!! Since this is for the September event it's still in outline form so I don't have a snippet but here's the premise!
Bonnie Bennet has a personal tradition (predating the whole supernatural nonsense but it has become increasingly vital ever since) where twice a month she turns off her phone, gets in her car, and drives three hours away from Mystic Falls to a milkshake and ice cream parlor in some other town.
Only problem is apparently Rebekah Mikaelson has decided to start going to the same one (to get a well deserved break from her brothers).
But the whole point of this is to forget about all the drama so they at first they decide to ignore each other. And then it gets awkward so they start sitting at the same table. And maybe they get to talking.
They're still enemies, don't get it twisted (they're lying to the world and to themselves)
