🔞 Day 17: How is Adar as a lover/NSFW hc

A topic I have discussed a lot the past year, and my thoughts have changed over time quite a lot. My first fanfic with him was totally self indulgent if I'm being completely honest.

🔥I hc Adar as a switch (but leaning more into sub) because he is a very adaptable person. The reason for this is somewhat dark, as he had to accommodate himself for such a long time. I imagine that he would act differently depending on the partner/situation.

When he was with Mairon, I obviously see that he subsided to him (was there even a choice?), but when he broke lose of him and in the end killed him he would himself be in charge, even in bed; this is his outer shell. He would indeed take this role when he had the urge to show his dominance and power (like after claiming the Uruks' new home). He leans into dominance and feriousness.

However, if he was with someone he trusted and loved, he would subside to their every wishes. He is a very generous lover and prefers giving over receiving. This is, of course, sadly due to him not seeing his own worth, but you would show him that he is worthy of all the pleasure. The intimacy would be strange for him in the beginning, but he would ease into it. He would be very touch starved and frankly a bit intimidated by it, but once he becomes comfortable, he won't be able to stay away.
