Both of Luelle's outfits don't feel like her. Neither of them are exactly... Luelle. Would you believe me if I said that was on purpose?

Ramblings bellow!!

Luelle has never really been herself. She doesn't even know who she really is until pretty late in the story.

When she serves as a knight for the kingdom I still have to name, she doesn't have any room to express herself. Her only role is to follow orders, and do them well. Which she does. She doesn't think about it, just just carries out any orders given to her without question.

When she surrenders to Maeve, she, again, just follows orders. At the point where she surrenders, she realizes that she's lost her sense of self, but she has no idea how to get it back. So she does what she always has done. Follows orders.

It's only after she and Maeve fall in love, and Luelle finally feels safe enough to be herself, does she start discovering more things about herself, and who she is as a person.

So neither of the outfits I've designed for her, have been For Her. They have just been to put her in the role that she serves.

There is a scene wayy later on in the story where Luelle asks Maeve if she can make a new outfit for herself. Maeve obviously agrees, and Luelle finally gets to express herself outwardly.

Still have to figure out... what she likes to wear. But I'll get there eventually.

He tripped over... something. He wasn't sure what. A tree root, a rock. Didn't matter. His head still collided with the ground regardless. Suddenly... this spot seemed... like a really appealing... place to... take a... nap....

I just saw the Darkside of Dimension’s Trailer dub and I’m just. so. damn. happy.

Like even though 4kids is dead, they still hire the original VAs for the dub and that just makes me so stupidly happy.
