Look I’m not in the know when it comes to censorship and fanfiction cuz I don’t read or write fanfiction, but I gotta tell ya... AFF didn’t have any censorship and I got to browse past stories that were literally about raping babies (yes, actual infants) and the violent gang rapes of twelve-year-olds (or so the tags said). And much of this was incestual to boot.

AFF was fine with that but NOT fine with me writing more than 150 characters in my author’s note. I got several emails accosting me for linking to other websites and being too wordy with my a/ns.

But, like, baby rape is fine.

So... that’s why I don’t go on that site anymore.
