Have a late night international meeting tonight and I am just 😫 because I really want to be playing Persona and/or writing, and with my kids' sleep schedules that is almost certainly not going to happen.
As we enter into the last day for the charting week, I just want to say how joyful it’s been to be sharing the fun of release week with all of you and celebrating this new album. All of your reactions, analysis, art, cheerleading posts, content sharing - it’s why I love being part of fandom.
I’m so emotional and proud of Louis for what he’s created in this album and to see him tracking so well in major markets is incredible. Compared to other chart topping artists, our fandom is relatively small and yet we are truly dedicated passionate people. It’s what makes the tour shows magical, it’s what’s driven this success - and it’s very clear that Louis is incredibly grateful for our support.
I’m so hopeful he’ll end up with the UK number 1, I just truly think it would mean a lot to him and it does hold weight in the industry to be able to say “chart topping artist”. It makes me overwhelmed just thinking about it. So for this last day of charting, keep hitting play on those streaming services, if you are inclined and haven’t done so already, grab a digital copy and download it, make your way to a store and buy a physical copy and give this one last push.
