I have an interesting question to ask for the internet human au out of curiosity. What would the dark web look like?
Internet Humans
Depends on what exactly you mean by that. There's not like a secret "Internet 2" that only criminals have access to. The 'Dark Web' and the 'Surface Internet' work off the same basic foundation.
You are letting people view a server (a physical thing) via an internet connection, they have to find it with a unique URL. That is the basis of the internet as a whole. It is sometimes forgotten because companies push their apps for data collection.
But there are sites that want you to be a bit more... secure and secretive. The 'Deep Web' is places that won't show up in search engines. Sometimes they'll be password protected or you'll only be able to find them by typing in the exact URL. Those sites want to make sure you don't have a digital paper trail someone could follow. (This is also where a lot of ARGs hide!)
So 'Dark Web' sites can be anything, from places to coordinate cyber attacks to pirated archived cartoon shows! As people, though, they'd act far more wary. If I were to design them, all of the 'Dark Websites' would hide their face, as anonymity is highly valued. They meet users away from the prying eyes of the Search Engines, hold secrets and plans the general public doesn't know about.
Fun fact: did you know you can do this with Tumblr? You can make additional pages to your blog! You just have to use something other than a smartphone and find your blog URL!
